New for 2016, Cheltenham Challenge is pleased to announce a partnership with the Night 52 Ultralauf event.
The N-52 takes place in Bretten, in the Kraichgau region of S.W Germany. The closest airport is Stuttgart which is a comfortable 45min drive. The course ranges between fields and hills to forests and small lakes. The course totals 900m of ascent. The run starts at 17:45 and lasts until the early hours (runners wear head torches after dark), with runners coming in to a live band with barbeques, sausages, beer, cakes etc.. There are showers and loungers to relax and small hotels at very reasonable prices just a 5min walk away in the centre of this beautiful medieval town.
The aim is to provide Cheltenham runners with an opportunity to experience an Ultra in a very scenic but hilly environment combined with a visit to a traditional Medieval town.
For the Bretten runners, it’s an opportunity to taper with a tough Marathon or Ultra amidst the beautiful hills of Cheltenham and the nearby town.
Further details to follow.
